What Is VoIP?

What is it exactly?

Simply put, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to make phone calls using a broadband (high-speed Internet) connection instead of a regular (analog) phone line. This enables a superior communications experience with modern calling features to improve quality, clarity, collaboration, and your business’s image.

How does it work?

VoIP converts your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. In other words, you're using the Internet to make phone calls. This technology allows you to make a call using a special VoIP phone or directly from a computer.
